It took 200 years and one man’s vision for the last piece of Scottish whisky culture to find a home in Cape Breton — and 25 more years for it to finally reach your lips. Having reached this momentous milestone of 25 years, Glenora felt it necessary to honour Bruce Jardine, the original founder of Glenora. Bruce Jardine passed away in 1999 before the release of his dream –  a single malt whisky produced in Cape Breton.

Glen Breton Rare Jardine Reserve is a rare 25 year old single malt whisky crafted in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Created to honour Bruce Jardine, the original founder of Glenora Distillery, this special release celebrates the vision, patience, and determination behind the dream of producing single malt whisky in Cape Breton.

Bruce Jardine helped bring the tradition of single malt whisky production to Cape Breton, but passed away in 1999 before seeing the release of the whisky he dreamed of creating. Jardine Reserve honours his memory and the lasting legacy of his vision.

This Glen Breton single malt was allowed to mature for 25 years before release. Over that time, the whisky developed the depth, structure, and refinement expected from a well-aged Canadian single malt whisky.
