Description
Alexander Keith’s Single Malt Whisky | Glen Breton 18 Year Old
Glen Breton Alexander Keith’s Single Malt Whisky is a distinctive Canadian single malt whisky crafted in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Distilled from Alexander Keith’s IPA and matured for 18 years in bourbon oak barrels, this release brings together two well-known Nova Scotia names in one memorable whisky.
This Alexander Keith’s single malt whisky began when Glenora Distillery distilled several batches of Alexander Keith’s IPA and placed the spirit into bourbon oak barrels to mature in the hills of Cape Breton. After 18 years of quiet aging, the result is a smooth, malt-forward whisky with a unique character shaped by time, oak, spring water, and the natural surroundings of Glenora Distillery.
The flavour profile is soft, rounded, and approachable, with notes of maple cream, butterscotch, and a lingering light applewood finish. The connection to Alexander Keith’s IPA gives this whisky a distinctive story, while the long maturation gives it depth, balance, and a refined Canadian single malt character.
As an 18 year old single malt whisky, this bottle makes a thoughtful gift for collectors, whisky enthusiasts, fans of Nova Scotia craft, or anyone looking for a unique Canadian whisky with a story behind it.
