441 Silver Fox Single Malt Whisky | Glen Breton 16 Year Old Single Malt
Glen Breton 441 Silver Fox Single Malt Whisky is a 16 year old Canadian single malt created in honour of 441 Tactical Fighter Squadron and its distinguished service history. This special military edition brings together Glen Breton craftsmanship, Cape Breton heritage, and the proud legacy of one of Canada’s best-known fighter squadrons.
Originally formed as No. 125 Fighter Squadron on April 20, 1942, in Sydney, Nova Scotia, the unit served as part of RCAF Eastern Air Command. It was later renumbered No. 441 Fighter Squadron and transferred overseas during the Second World War, serving from airfields in England, France, and Belgium.
Over the decades, 441 Squadron was reformed and relocated several times, serving in Canada and Europe before eventually becoming 441 Tactical Fighter Squadron. Its guidon and battle honours are now held for safekeeping at Sydney City Hall in Nova Scotia, where the squadron was first formed.
This 16 year old single malt whisky is a meaningful tribute to the squadron’s service, history, and connection to Cape Breton. It is particularly well suited for former members of 441 Squadron, RCAF personnel, military families, collectors, and anyone looking for a Canadian whisky with a genuine historical connection.
With its distinctive Silver Fox presentation and long maturation, this bottle makes a memorable military whisky gift for retirements, reunions, commemorations, birthdays, and special occasions.
