The Distillery

Glen Breton Whisky is produced by Glenora Distillery, which was founded in 1990 by Bruce Jardine. The distillery is located in Glenville, Nova Scotia, on the banks of MacLellan’s Brook. The picturesque location is surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and the beautiful Cape Breton Highlands.

• Glen Breton 10 Year Old: This whisky is aged for 10 years in oak barrels, which gives it a smooth and mellow flavour. It has won numerous awards, including gold medals at the 2021 New York International Spirits Competition and the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

• Glen Breton Ice 10 Year Old: This whisky is aged for 10 years and finished in ice wine casks, which gives it a sweet and fruity flavour. It won gold and silver medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and was named “Innovator of the Year” in 2008.

• Glen Breton 19 Year Old: This whisky is aged for 19 years, which gives it a rich and complex flavour. It won a bronze medal at the 2021 New York International Spirits Competition.

• Glen Breton 21 Year Old: This whisky is aged for 21 years, which gives it a deep and intense flavour. It won an international gold medal at the 2016 New York Wine and Spirits Competition.

• Ghleann Dubh 13 Year Old: This whisky is aged for 13 years and has a peaty flavour. It has won a silver medal at the 2021 Canadian Whisky Awards and an international silver medal in the Malt Peated Category at the 2017 Whiskies of the World awards.

• Ghleann Dubh 16 Year Old: This whisky is aged for 16 years and has a smooth and mellow flavour. It won a silver medal at the 2023 Canadian Whisky Awards.
